1. Welcome back event: To delay or not?
- Delay the welcome back event to next Friday ( 01/25 ) at the conference center
- A five minute Hadith at the start of the general body meetings.
Event during 3rd week of February (not yet committed)
- Publicity
- Book a room
2. Furniture Project :
- Publicize it at Jumuah, through email and flyers
- Make separate flyers for donating and getting furniture.
3. Dawah table on Thursdays
4. Showdown
- Rooms to be reserved tonight
o Friday 2:30 to 10pm
- Reserving the football fields
- Writing competition/Video Competition rules to be submitted with registration
- Hiba Awad : Sisters Kickball and basketball
MARCH 14: (FRIDAY)
Halo tournament from around Maghreb to 10 pm
Bonfire in Phase 4
(Bilal shows up to pray, tucking his blades of Athenas in his belt)
MARCH 15: (Saturday)
-Registration at 10 am
-Introduction: Hadith, inspirational quote, team building exercises .Also set a few morals to be followed for the entire day. Come up with a sort of a theme.
(Ziad cracks a few timely jokes. Excellent, it was getting really boring)
-Br Essam: Brother idea: Have two brothers or sisters to do things together so that they can be friends (in accordance to the Sunnah ).
-Girls nasheed( around 7: 15 pm) and then guys nasheed
-Lecture: Br Marwan : Team Building and Morals
Imam Yasin : Team Building
(Ziad pours praises on Mohammad Kalam . He should come for more of our events. Who is Mohammad Kalam?)
Nawal : Native Deen. MSA has to recruit counselors or something.
MARCH 16 (SUNDAY)
(Not much to discuss about Sunday, and everyone getting restless so we decide to go home)
