Ziad makes a 15 minute appearance
1. Trophies:
Nawal talked to this person and he agreed to match our budget
One trophy for each winning team and ribbons for the rest of the members
Certificates for the 2nd and 3rd place teams
2. Food
Shawarma decided upon – need to push the price to 2.50
Lunch - $400 (according to budget)
Dinner - $500 (according to budget)
Hiba Mumtaz: Checked with a couple of restaurants. Sultans said that we need to show them prices from all other places so he can give a price by Monday. They can box the food.
Ziad: Falafel - 3 dollars a sandwich, 50 cents salad, 50 cents humus
Either a falafel or shawarma ( chicken/beef)

3. Team Building exercise
Cops and robbers (???) With a story line. Someone will narrate the story while we play. (Maybe we can all have a coloring competition after that). Anyway, the first person to get the ‘golden ticket’ wins.
Three legged race
4. Basketball
Sisters referee is very rusty in basketball, so she doesn’t think she can make it. Suggestion to have her referee kickball
Everyone has to have insurance for basketball (not decided what to do yet. Details later )
5. Tajweed: Br Tahir is coming for sure ( inshAllah )

6. Film
Judges: Omar and Maaz ( 10 o clock on Saturday night ) : Suggestion to have someone else. Ammo Ziad
7. Speakers:
Imam Yasin – Saturday evening – Unity and spiritual side - 30 – 45 minutes (Kareem to shadow )
Br. Marwan –Saturday morning - Teamwork and activism- 30 to 40 minutes (Ayham to shadow )
Ayham has to confirm the topics with both of them
8. We need to go get sponsorships
Email the ISF. Recruit people to help them with stuff. Have the booth setup for a certain amount of the day
Br.Ziad refuses to collect money from donors. There’s a huge argument; nobody wants to collect the money. Finally, Ziad, under intense pressure, promises to do it on Thursday. That’s the spirit.
9. General body meting: 5th March and 27th February
We will ask people at the meeting about volunteering

MJK will email about the general body meeting.
10. Hiba mumtaz: Baylor university has a documentary on Iran and Iraq:
Carpool and go there. Need to support them.
Discuss this at the general body meeting

Obaida will help out with soccer.
Enrollment services is using up the rooms till 10 30 or 11 (cutting it too close)
Acting on Bilal’s wishes, I announce that he wants to get fired. Everyone flatly refuses. According to the deal, Bilal was supposed to treat me to dinner. He refuses to do so.
Nawal: I wanted to apologize if I hurt anyone; I feel that at meeting times, everyone should respect each other. If someone has any concerns, we need to resolve them soon. Also, while working with LSC, we don’t want anyone to feel that they’re stepping on each others toes. Please be respectful to MSA members and also to LSC people. I really hope no one disrespects anyone. I have more to say but I won’t say it right now.
