1. Movie: Wednesday at 8 pm

Topics: Creation, Concept of God, Worship, Afterlife, Women in Islam, Equality
Prophets: Abraham and Jesus
We will have a question and answer session at the end. There is a suggestion to avoid controversial topics, but not to sidestep a question.
3. MUSIC options: Sami Yusuf. Difference of opinion on Sami Yusuf. Not yet decided. Apparently many people think he’s awesome. (This reminds me. Me and Bilal were at this fundraiser, and this girl nearby was talking to her friend “ You know, I went to Sami Yusuf’s concert, and I think he’s like really smart.” She gauged his intelligence from his voice. Hmm )

4. Publicity: Need to announce It to different classes ( RHET, Religion classes, Ottoman empire class ).
Religious Amity club, BSA, fraternities, and religious organizations, Hindu student organization,
Co sponsor the carnival with SUAAB: Ziad has to ask them about it. Problem: SUAAB might not agree with all the information we have.
Mr President informs us that its not Islamic Awareness week. It’s Islam awareness week. “But Islamic awareness week sounds better.” I intelligently point out that we’re being made aware of Islam, and not Islamic.

Br Essam suggests that we mention some of the misconceptions floating around about Islam so people are made aware of it, and how wrong they are.Suggestion noted.
