SummerFundraising
- Look into CiCis, baskin robins, roller skating, Thursday twice every month, also look into a bowling place for fundraising.
Ramadan
-Priority - regency, galaxy...talk with amy to get approval and then u go thru reservations(mjk)
- Iftar from Monday thru Friday, September 1st is ramadan, mjk will take care of sponsers for ramadan around 350$, ask ppl to sponsors, parents, 75-100 ppl, except friday 60-70 ppls
-Family Iftar fundraising - 9th or 11th of september on tuesday or thursday, 80 to 100 ppl expected including family and community members and msa students, program- mjk will take care of it,
Fastathon
- Thursday the 18th of september, pending, mjk will reserve, Omar will talk Amu Marwan for guest speaker, theme is go hungry so that that some1for orphans thru Islamic Relief,Khalik meek is primary speaker, a formal invitation, the form for fasters when they fast, sponsorship form, build excel spreadsheet for fasters with name and email, PR ideas - masajid need to know for sponserships, triangle ads on the comets campus, posters and flyers, tv screens, reserve tables for fastathon, talk with multicultural center, 8th till 17th of september to come attend the fastathon, during lunch 11-2, ahmed will talk with social classes,conctact Selina Brody Physology and prejudice, maybe govt jobs rhet 1101, religion, language about fastathon, posters hanging next to the gaming tables, SOM billboards, flyers, talk to the bookstores(on campus, off campus, stanza) the big electronic board on drive a, the lawn signs, ayham will do press release to the Mercury, event will be held either at Galaxy or the SOM courtyard(might cost us), PR(Rafiz) we need to have a list of every student organization to invite ppl to come to the event, look into getting a table for SOM, GREEN, LIBRARY,
